Skin Cancer Surgery

A little back story:
Last year, my dad developed shingles. It took some time but it healed.
In the beginning months of this year, he started to get some kind of wound on his head that we thought was the shingles coming back. After seeing multiple doctors, in which one tried to treat it with some kind of skin glue that made the wound 10× bigger, he was referred to a plastic surgeon because they were under the impression it was a cyst but it was far too deep to be removed in the doctors office.
My dad went to see the plastic surgeon and was finally diagnosed. With skin cancer.
Though the skin cancer is not life threatening at this moment, it can become.
He is the sole provider of our household, sometimes working 7 days a week, most days atleast 10 hours a day. He is going to be 56 this year. This cancer affects his sleep, due to the pain. He is a floor installer and has hit his head on multiple instances and the pain has put him back on the ground. He got skin cancer from getting sunburnt so much, working outside, And now he can barely wear a hat to prevent because it causes too much pain.
As many of my friends know, my family takes simple pride in being humble. Helping whomever we can. Especially my dad. He's always giving, giving, giving.
The reason I'm making this go fund me is because my dad doesn't have insurance, and can't afford the surgery which will include a skin graph due the the intensity of the wound. He is a veteran, but the VA cannot help him for very unlikely reasons, but we accept it. We live pay check to pay check but he keeps a roof over our head and food in our bellies. I know that many of you have personally been helped by my dad and know how amazing of a guy he is.
So now, I ask you. To give back to someone who is constantly giving himself to others. My dad is my hero, a veteran of the army. The reason why I can approach people with a smile and am always vigilant of people in need.
I do not beg, but please if you Can, donate so my dad can get the surgery he needs before it gets worse.
