BEAR-BEAR was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia for the 2nd time in his young 24 years.
When he was 8 years old on August 19, 2000 he was admitted to M.D. Anderson and 2 days later on August 21 the diagnosis came, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia so young and to battle this demon and he won... Now at the age of 24 on January 19, 2016 he was admitted at St. Luke's Hospital and just 2 days later on the 21 he was diagnosed with the same cancer. We are so distraught with this news, he has many plans, has a great job, has a beautiful girlfriend ( who is now his fiance) and many friends, and most of all family.
His father and I pray every night and ask God for healing. Roy, has many people praying for him from all over the USA . And we are grateful.
Now, the reality of the nightmare is this will take a toll on him financially. All we are asking if you can and would like to donate for his medical needs, he is just beginning, but we have experience in this from the first time, and it was hard. Sadly an experience that we do not like. This time now there are talks about "bone marrow transplant", and the first person they would consider would be his brother my son Pedro Garcia, because he is from the same mom and dad. That was very hard to tell our son. Not something that was pleasant, but God was able to calm Pedro's heart.
He just turned 24 on December 30. Never did we think that he would be here again. But we have an Awesome God...
