Burial Fund For Our Son Eddie Lamson

Donation protected

How do you handle the death of your child? Truth be told you don't. No parent should ever have to bury their child. We have recently lost our son Eddie to the most horrible pandemic in this country, heroin.  He is a victim that was taken from us way to soon at the age of 29. Eddie was trying so hard to get his life in order and do the right things. He was enrolled at Pennco Tech in their night auto mechanic program and he was excelling in all aspects of schooling. He started a new job using the skills he was learning at school and was doing very well in his new trade. Eddie had such a love for sports especially baseball where he was one hell of a left handed pitcher. Had a pick off move that would leave you looking like a deer in headlights. Loved playing pick up basketball games surfing and skateboarding. He was a natural athlete and excelled at every sport he played. We watched Eddie go from a fun loving child who was so eager to put a smile on your face and do anything for you. A child who couldn't wait for the next time he stepped foot on the mound to pitch,  to a teenager who lost his way. He  lost interest in the sport he loved and found comfort in numbing the internal pain that he hid from everyone. Eddie fought these demons that haunted him daily for years. Dealing with addiction is not easy on the addict or the loving family that feels helpless in this battle. You try every Avenue to help and support. You never stop loving but sometimes love and help is not enough to pull them from the clutch of this nasty nasty life changing disease. We have started this campaign to help with the cost of his burial. This is not something any of us ever thought we would ever be doing, asking for money to help lay our son to rest. If you can help in any way it would be greatly appreciated. If you can not help monetarily please share and keep us all in your prayers. Thank you all and God Bless
