Lifesaving Veterinary Specialist for Rascal

URGENT: 10 years ago my friend Todd found a beautiful Siamese kitten looking for food near a dumpster. It was in the middle of the night near a busy intersection, so he probably saved its life by taking it home with him. They have been constant companions ever since. He named him Rascal.

Recently, Rascal became critically ill and has been in the Palms West Veterinarian Hospital (Loxahatchee Groves, FL) under the care of Dr. Ira Grossman since February 10th, 2019. He’s been on IV fluids and they are having to force feed him with a syringe. Dr. Grossman says Rascal needs a specialist at Veterinary Specialty Hospital of Palm Beach Gardens who can do an ultrasound, surgically insert a feeding tube, and provide him with 24 hour care and more testing because he isn’t improving under current conditions. That level of critical care costs thousands.

Todd and his mother have already paid all they can come up with ($1,500.00) and they need our help to save Rascal. Todd isn’t able to work at this time because he is the primary caregiver to his 89 year old mom, Betty, who is recovering at home following a recent hospitalization due to fractures in 5 lumbar vertebrae. His mother lives on Social Security.

Although nothing is guaranteed, Dr. Grossman says if Todd and his mother can pay the specialist, Rascal will have a much better chance at surviving this. But, if they can’t come up with the money, Rascal’s organs will soon fail him as he begins to starve to death from malnutrition. This is why I’m asking you to help out if you can.
