Medical Relief Fund

Six years ago I was the victim of a mugging. The event resulted in a loss of personal property, and injury. I lost about $1,500 in personal property, and my foot was broken in the incident. I was drugged and robbed so I have no memory of the event. Due to circumstances so common to all of us, the bills were lost to the void. Now they have come home to roost. I am currently in collections for a debt to the tune of $6,000. I am asking for $6,500 to pay for the medical debt, and help cover the gofundme portion. I desperatly need the help of any who see this page. My Ex-wife and I are asking for the help and support of friends and family. We both live on a very thin financial edge, and this debt threatens to bring us both to financial ruin. I have worked all my life in education and law enforcement. I have given all I have to the professions I have chosen, not for the money, but for the good they do. Now I am asking for some of that good to come back to me. Thank you for any help you can give.
