MIDNIGHT POUTINE at LOVE BURN 2020
Donation protected
We are Midnight Poutine!
For those who never heard of us, we're a Burning Man food camp from that french speaking part of Canada called Quebec and since 2008, we've been driving 10 000 km to serve poutines to very hungry and eager burners at BRC.
But wait, what's poutine? It's a traditional Quebecois comfort food usually (but not always) eaten after a night of drinking. It’s made of french fries and cheese curds (what is called in Quebecois "cheese droppings " ). The whole thing covered with thick brown gravy from ancient family recipes. Almost magic, no?
We need your contributions for :
Ingredients : This includes potatoes, gravy and precious cheese curds.
The other Ingredients : We are talking about oil and propane to feed our fryers
Transport & Logistics : It takes a lot to set up a food camp, we will need to rent a trailer to drive down all our gear from Montreal to Miami.
It costs about $650CAD ($500USD) to serve 200 poutines and this excludes our camp's expenses. So that means ALL the money you contribute goes toward running the poutine kitchen! The more money we get, the more poutines and surprises we have the pleasure to serve, it's that simple. We are a team of 10 aiming to bring you 600 poutines for Love Burn! Please help us feed you.
* We will bring you a Midnight Poutine apron delivered directly to Love Burn for donations of $130CAD or more on presentation of your ID or donation proof. For donations made before February 1st.
