It takes a village

Loss of a loved one is never easy and made even harder when there is distance between you and the ones you love. A young man named Dallas, who is in Seattle to play hockey for the Seattle Totems, is away from his family and everything he knows, in Manitoba and during quite possibly the hardest moment in his 17 years. The oldest of 3, Dallas is a major support to his grandparents in helping care for his twin brother and sister who are just 8 months old. This morning his baby sister Shanaya gained her wings. Dallas arrived in Seattle just 2 weeks ago to play hockey and is needing to get home to be with his family during a very difficult time. I am setting up this fund to cover his flight tomorrow and travel expenses. Any additional funds raised will go to the family to help with funeral/memorial expenses. It takes a village, and I'm certain that we can be a village for Dallas in his time of need.
