Carol Hassert's medical expenses

As most of you in and around the Summit community know, Carol Hassert is battling her second cancer diagnosis in two years.

There is a luminary fund currently taking place to "Light Up Summit" Valentine's Day weekend, but that ends in a few days.  For those who would like to participate in another way, this additional longer-term fund has been set up to help defray some of the Hassert's medical costs.  (The irony there is that if any other school district employee was to become ill, it would be Carol who would be setting up this account!)

Carol has been the consummate volunteer for many, many years in the Summit Public Schools.  Her three daughters Gillian, Laura, and Catherine and husband Mark all have been active participants as well.     Even while she is bravely battling this illness, she is doing the online shopping necessary for the Mary Poppins production!

Carol currently works for Summit High School Principal Paul Sears as his administrative assistant.  She is seen here looking beautiful in a photo by Lisa Berkery Photography toward the end of her first go-round.

All money raised, less the gofundme fees, will be available immediately to the Hasserts.
