Save Ziva, The sweetest Maine Coon

Beste dierenvrienden,
Maak kennis met Ziva; onze 9-jarige Maine Coon die ons al 4 jaar extra levensvreugde geeft. Behalve dat Ziva een prachtbeestje is, is ze een echt zorgenpoesje, net als elke dierenliefhebber hebben wij het beste met haar voor. Zo krijgt zij van ons al jaren de juiste behandeling voor haar diabetes en staat zij bij ons altijd op nr. 1! Nog geen half jaar geleden moesten al haar tandjes operatief worden verwijderd, dat is gebeurd tijdens twee operaties. Ondanks de vele zorgen en kosten die dit alles met zich meebrengt, blijven mijn vriendin en ik positief naar de toekomst kijken samen met onze Ziva. Kort daarna heeft ze een middenoor onsteking gekregen waarvoor ze al 6 weken in behandeling is. De infectie heelde niet naar behoren waardoor de neuroloog een CT-scan (€500) heeft genomen waaruit blijkt dat er een gezwel aanwezig is dat operatief verwijderd zal moeten worden. Ondertussen lopen alle dierenartskosten hoog op met de dure operatie al in zicht.

Dear people,
Meet Ziva the 9 year old Maine Coon who brings us joy for about 4 years now. She is the sweetest cat but unfortunately she needs healthcare for the rest of her life. Like everybody who loves animals we just want the best for our cat. She suffers from diabetics but with the right care she is stable and still our number one. About a half year ago we had to have all her teeth surgically removed in two operations. Despite all the worrying and the costs, me and my girlfriend stay positive for our future with Ziva. Recently she was diagnosed with a middle ear infection, therefore she had to take six weeks of antibiotics. The infection didn’t heal properly so the neurologist took a CT-scan where they found a tumor that needs to be surgically removed. All the vet bills keep stacking up and the operation is going to be very expensive.
We welcome all the gifts that will help our beloved cat.
