ESP for rape victim
My name is Katrina. I've recently become a student at Grand Canyon University, go Lopes! My major is behavioral health science because I want to help people who have been through trauma, people like me.
I suffer from an extreme anxiety disorder, depression, and PTSD. I was raped and for a long time before justice caught up to my assaulter I had to see him every day. The psychological toll was immense. I go to therapy to help me cope with this.
The stress of a new environment away from home has taken its toll on me. My doctor and psychiatrist both recommended I get an emotional support animal to help avoid becoming dependent on anxiety medication due to my already taking antidepressants/PTSD.
My dog Daisy is ready to be there for me. I raised her since she was a puppy and she has saved my life when times have gotten hard. She has all her shots and is fixed, she only needs training ($45 assessment fee, around $550 to train), and service gear (approx. $55) before she can be here with me. My mother found a woman in her town who will train Daisy to work with my anxiety.
