Our dear John aka Novah, but simply Daddy to 4 month old Jolene and a loving husband and bestfriend to his exceptional wife Krissy, has just been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), a fast growing form of cancer of the blood and bone marrow. A long series of treatments such as chemotherapy and eventually, a stem cell transplant is ahead of him. This means, long hospitalizations and medical bills piling up. While health insurance and sincere prayers certainly help, I created this page as a way to support John, Krissy and Jolene in this difficult time. Even it means a meal, gas allowance, a teddy bear to brighten up John's day, or just the fact that they know they are truly loved and supported by many. The money raised on this page will go directly to Krissy and John, and may help with their daily expenses as they fight this battle. It is true (and quite unfair) that bad things happen to good people, but good friends can provide an extra layer of love and support that may just be enough to keep a warrior going.
