Asylum indoor skatepark is ran by Asylum ACES (registered charity) and has been open for nearly 3 years. During this time we have seen a massive progression in local, and non local youngsters who use our facilities. We are currently trying our best to raise enough money to buy an airbag. This allows riders to learn new tricks without the risk of injury, making it possible to push the boundaries of their chosen sports even further and benefitting everyone from beginners to professionals. Last summer we managed to find the money to hire an airbag for the day, this was a massive success with not only the youngsters but the older riders too and proved to us that it was much needed. If we can raise enough to buy an airbag it would be useable outside during the summer and indoors during the winter, making it useable all year round. The airbag is also portable, this makes it possible to do school visits and local demonstrations, encouraging more people to try new sports and hopefully sustaining the skatepark for years to come! Every donation however big or small would be hugely appreciated!
