The Jeschke’s, formerly of Edmonton, AB, moved to Sparwood, BC in the fall of 2014. A light hearted family who loved to joke and have fun with one another, and enjoyed time spent exploring the Elk Valley. Kevin and Bev have one adult child (Chey-Ann) and two school aged children (Graham – grade 7; Madyson – grade 4) and one grandchild (Dana).
In the short time they have spent in the Elk Valley, the Jeschke’s have made a big impact on the local communities. On Wednesday, December 23rd, life handed them a cruel card. While Kevin and Bev drove home, from a shopping trip in Cranbrook, Kevin went into medical distress, which resulted in him passing away very suddenly and very unexpectedly.
The Jeschke’s world has been rocked to the core. With no family support in the area, Bev and her children will be leaving Sparwood to move back to Edmonton, allowing them to be closer to family and friends. Recently, Bev had started a new job with the opening of the Tim Horton’s in Sparwood. Kevin was a respected and hard-working chef with the Lamplighter Pub, in Elkford, but has also worked as a chef with The Rusty Edge and Nevado’s in Fernie. This tragedy puts the family in a difficult financial situation.
Bev wants and needs to be there to support her young children over the next weeks, which can only be done with financial support.
Bev has lost her soul mate and best friend, Graham and Madyson have lost their daddy, Chey-Ann, her step dad and little Dana, her grandfather. All of us have lost a friend, colleague, jokester, parent volunteer, and all in all fun loving guy.
All monies from this fund will help ease the burden of financial expenses in the wake of this terrible tragedy.
