Funds for Jackie Lithgow and Don Hoover

$7,711 of $15k goal

Raised by 98 people in 33 months
Jackie Lithgow and Donald Hoover, both 19 and Bloomsburg University students, were seriously injured on February 23, 2014 in an unprovoked attack.  Still in a coma, Jackie remains in very critical condition.  If Jackie survives, his injuries and recover will take months and years.  Donald's injuries will also take months to heal.

We are friends and classmates of Jim and Lisa Lithgow, the parents of Jackie Lithgow. We are respectfully raising funds for the expenses both students will incur as a result of this terrible attack.  Received funds will be distributed in proportion to injuries and medical bills.  In the event we receive any excess funds, those funds will be used to help end campus violence against students in Bloomsburg, PA in the names of Jackie Lithgow and Don Hoover.

Four friends and classmates will oversee the collection and proper disbursement of all received funds. Robert Emert, CPA; Dr. Jeffry Nietz, Kelly Lewis, JD/MBA, and Aaron Roetenberg.  Donors will receive an accounting of all received and disbursed funds.

Funds will be quickly distributed to the parents of Jackie Lithgow and Don Hoover.

Donors may also send checks to "Jim & Lisa Lithgow," c/o Emert & Associates, CPAs, 131 East Main Street, Lock Haven, PA 17745. or call Robert Emert, II, CPA at 570.748.6505

Yesterday, Jackie Lithgow ate a Philly Cheesesteak and fries. It's been a heart-wrenching 100 day journey after a brutal, senseless assault. Jackie's courageous recovery is an inspiration for 1,000's. Celebrate the joys in your life!

The Lithgow family sends their warmest regards and thanks for all of your support, affections and kindness.

Many blessings be with you.

Spent 30 minutes with Jackie Lithgow and his father Jim Lithgow at Geisinger on Saturday night. We watched Jackie squeezing his father's thumb, holding up fingers and a High-Five as his father asked him to do each task... He's responding, connecting... baby steps, but steady... we talked to Jackie about digital forensics, his favorite classes and professors... God willing, Jackie Lithgow, we are praying for you...

FRIENDS, Jackie Lithgow is starting to respond to his mother and father's voices and touches. He squeezed fingers, slightly opened his eyes and cried when he heard his mother's voice... Keep up the prayers... http://prayforjackie.com/
