What should have been a memorable family reunion in October 2018 ended up in a serious tragedy.

After a year of not seeing each other as a familly, finally  my parents and sister came all the way from Mexico to  celebrate with me my acceptance letter to City College of San Francisco (thanks you very much to all  my sponsors). This news was a great achievement for all of us, since one's successes are triumphs for all. However while driving home we suffered a severe car accident which has left my family and I without the resources needed to undergo the physical and emotional weight.

Despite the fact that everyone got injured, my mom was the most affected of all. She had to be transported in an helicopter to the hospital of specialties  due to the fracture of the back and the hemorrhage that she suffered due to traumatism in the skull with danger of death. However, once the hospital found out that my family don’t have insurance, hours later they kicked us out of the hospital.

Now my mother is in Mexico, and unable to walk. According to the doctors who are checking her say that it will require surgeries and therapies to walk again.

We are forever gonna be grateful  for the people that rescued us from the accident that day, and we are never going to find the words to thank them or give them back  what they did for us. However the bills from the hospitals, ambulances, helicopter and paramedics have not stopped, and all the new treatments for my mom required to be pay. I pray to God to let my mother walk again, and move like she used to. That is why I dare to request your support, believe me you are helping a woman that is special in all aspects. She transmits that energy of peace even when things get tough, and will work the 365 days of the year if possible just so my sister and I can have  the best education. My mom is strong, and doesn't let anything teared her down, because she knows that giving up doesn’t exist in her vocabulary. If you knew her you would fall in love with her too.

Lo que debía ser una reunión familiar memorable en octubre de 2018 terminó por ser una verdadera tragedia.

Tras un año de no vernos, mis padres y hermana vinieron de México con la intención de celebrar mi ingreso en el City College of San Francisco, el cual no ha sido solo mi mérito, ha sido el resultado del duro trabajo que todos desempeñamos como familia y al Patrocinio de la gente que ha creído en mi. Desafortunadamente en nuestro camino a casa sufrimos un terrible accidente automovilístico que nos ha dejado sin  los recursos suficiente para sobrellevar la carga física y emocional por la cual estamos atravesando en estos duros momentos.

A pesar de que todos tuvimos lesiones, la más afectada ha sido mi madre. Ella tuvo que ser transportada en helicóptero al hospital de especialidades debido a la fractura de espalda y la hemorragia suscitada debido a un trauma de cráneo con riesgo de muerte. Sin embargo, una vez que el hospital descubrió que no teníamos aseguranza ni suficientes recursos económicos para pagar las cuentas, nos echaron del hospital sin tomar en cuenta la salud de mi madre.

Hoy en día mi madre  se encuentra en México incapaz de caminar por su propio pie. De acuerdo con los doctores que la están examinando, muy probablemente requerirá de cirugías y rehabilitación para poder caminar nuevamente…

Quiero agradecer especialmente a todas las personas que nos rescataron ese día, no tendremos jamás las  palabras o acciones para retribuirles, sin embargo las cuentas de los hospitales, ambulancias, helicóptero y paramédicos no han parado y su nuevo tratamiento requiere de gastos también, Si Dios nos los permite ella volverá a caminar y a moverse como lo solía hacer.

Es por ello que me atrevo a solicitar de su apoyo... créanme que estarán ayudando a  mujer que es muy noble y especial en todos los aspectos … Carolina es de aquellas mujeres que aunque todo sea gris  no puede dejar de irradiar paz y luz a su alrededor, es de aquellas mujeres que trabajan los 365 días al año con tal de brindarles una mejor educación a cada una de sus hijas y también es de aquellas mujeres que no se dejan vencer ante nada ni ante nadie, por que saben que esa palabra en su vocabulario no existe… SI la conocieran  les prometo la amarían tanto como yo.
