Worst luck ever

Donation protected
I have been having the worst luck of my life for the past year and just when I feel as if things can't get any worse life decides to say "oh yeah? hold my beer."

I moved to Florida about two months ago to move in with my friend and get our business going. After a bunch of setbacks and issue after issue we finally started to catch a little bit of a break with working with someone who ended up stiffing us and not paying us for the work we did. On Thursday I woke up and a friend that we knew online offered to get us a pizza because we were struggling with money because of our massive amount of bills we had that were steadily growing. We agreed and I drove there for us to pick it up.

I dropped him off at the front of the store. A few minutes later he comes out telling me they asked for his ID and wouldn't give it back. He asked me if I could go in and get it. I agreed to do it and walked down to the store. I spoke to who I think was the manager and asked what was going on. He told me "oh we have been having problems with credit cards". I told him if there was a problem or whatever to just cancel the order out and let me get his ID because I had to get back to work after being there for about twenty minutes already. That is when a cop came in and the manager asked me to "get my friend whose ID I have". I agreed, walked outside, and he was gone. I started looking for him in the parking lot, and looking in the window in stores around there for him. The cop starts chasing me down and yelling at me. He asked me what happened and I told him everything above. He told me "it would be easier to just tell me the truth and it will go over better for you". I told him I was being completely transparent with him and had no idea what the problem was. Next thing I know I'm being arrested for petit theft of 250.00 or less, felony credit card fraud, and felony impersonation, my car was being impounded and my tags on my car seized.

I was booked in the jail and went before a judge in the morning for bail. I have a clean record and no prior arrests and the judge set my bail at $32,500. Luckily my friend, and employer, found a bondsman to get me out on 1700.00 bond (with a payment plan for the 1550 balance that I have to pay weekly) two days after I was booked which I am eternally grateful for.

They ended up taking my car keys and my house keys so when I was released I had no way to get in the house because my friend disappeared and I have no idea where he is or how to even get in contact with him because his phone is off. I ended up having to walk about 6 miles in the pouring rain in Florida just to get to the impound lot which was closed, but the owner said he would go there for me which is finally a lucky break for me. I walked there, and then walked to the house.

When I came in I noticed the place was cleared out. I immediately noticed a bunch of my stuff was missing. I had someone staying with me who went back north a couple weeks ago for a little bit and their stuff was scavenged through as well and a lot of their stuff was missing as well. I later found out it was another guy that was staying with us for about a month in June until July that broke in here and did it. He stole my cell phones, my headphones, and various other things as well as used my electric trimmer to trim his... below areas.. and left the hair in my toilet and all over the bathroom floor. At this point in my life I have 8.00 to my name, no car, no food or drinks, my phone that I had on me when arrested is about to be shut off, bills due, rent due, my insurance lapsed and I didn't know it because I have been down here and thought it was paid up until October, and I'm about to be out on the street and facing serious jail time all for a five dollar pizza that I just drove someone to pick up.

Anyone who knows me knows I _NEVER_ ask for help because I am way too prideful and prefer to be the person that is helping others, but I have no options left to come up with the money I need in time to get my car out of impound before there's more daily fees, get my insurance back, and pay my friend and bondsman back let alone get an attorney, or even eat or drink. I am in the lowest point of my life and I just want to get all of this cleared up, taken care of, and go back north and just continue working on bettering myself, and my life. Coming down here was the biggest mistake of my life. I was already working on leaving Wednesday night when a friend offered to give me money for gas to leave. I said let me talk to my friend in the morning that was staying with me so I could make sure I wouldn't leave any of their stuff here and then all of this happens.

I am grateful for those that have been here for me, and grateful for anyone who can help at all. I am at my breaking point and don't really have any options left. In my industry you can't really make money without having money either so I am really backed into a corner. Also if anyone has any work they need done I am not turning anything down at this point. I don't need a handout and I am willing to work for everything, but I need to get this resolved ASAP before the fees get higher and things get even worse.
