Camera For Amanda

My friend Amanda is a great photographer. Her mother passed away from cancer when she was very young.  I know more than anything she says she wishes she could have more memories of her mom and I wish I could do that for her so bad, but I can't. I have been trying to do something really special for Amanda because I think she deserves it.  She says she wants to be a photogrpaher when she grows up and she recently posted that she would like a better camera. She doesn't know that I know that and I am secretly trying to raise enough money so that she can buy a new camera.

I want to do that for Amanda. She takes some awesome pictures and I have included some of those for you to view.  I can't tell you how much I enjoy talking to her. She makes me laugh and she has made me cry as well. Not tears of sadness though only tears of joy. She really gets life is all about and as she put it to me life is really beautiful in the end.  She tells me I need to work on holding stuff in all the time and that it's not healthy for me.  So Amanda when you are reading this someday you will know how special to me I think you are. When ever I am depressed or having a bad day getting to know her has giving me the strength to move forward. I don't ever think I will ever be able to repay her back what she has given to me. I know the loss of her mother had to hurt and I think taking pictures is very theraputic to her.

I want to get her a new camera so that she can continue to take some great pictures and hopefully someday she will achieve her dream of becoming a photographer. I ask that you please help me raise enough money so that Amanda can buy a better camera. I have included some of the pictures that Amanda has taken in the past. I will continue to post more as more donations come in. Thank you for your help.
