Joe’s Final Expenses

Donation protected
On Tuesday, March 11th, we had to call the ambulance for our dad because he was very mentally distressed. He couldn’t make a sentence, was slurring his words, and didn’t know his name. Upon entering the ER, his oxygen levels continued to drop and he became less aware of things. They ended up having to sedate him and put him on a breathing tube. Over the next couple days, tons of exams were done to find that his heart was not fully functioning, causing his entire body to be swollen and not function properly. After being transferred to renown and more tests being done for a week, his lungs started to collapsed. We were then told he was in the end stages of heart failure. Joe passed away after a week in the ICU, on Tuesday, March 19th, surrounded by family and friends. Two months shy of his 51st birthday. He leaves behind three kids and three grandsons. This was very sudden and unexpected, so we are at a loss of words. It is very hard for us kids to ask for help from anyone, but we are finally caving in and asking for help in his final expenses. Our dad didn’t have health insurance, savings, or anything. We are just hoping to take a little stress off and be able to lay him to rest. It made me put a goal, so I just put an amount. New things are coming up each day, so I don’t have a goal right now.
