Final Expenses for Cancer Warrior Tammy Jo Davis

Donation protected
It is with great sadness I write that my Aunt Tammy Jo Davis (formerly O’Brien and Harmon) recently lost her battle with cancer. She was courageous, strong and fought valiantly until her last moment.  In her words, her cancer started in her lungs and took a field trip to her brain. She never lost her will to live, her hope or her sense of humor.

Tammy is originally from San Diego, she grew up in Chula Vista and lived in Ramona, until she moved to Dearborn Heights, Michigan a few years ago to be with her sons and grand-babies. Prior to moving to Michigan, she managed the Circle K in Ramona for many years, before that the Sears Auto Center in El Cajon. She had also worked in Chula Vista at Circle K, and Sears Auto center a number of years back.

While in Michigan, she went back to work for Sears in management, and was laid off when her local Sears closed down. She then went back to work for Circle K and had only been workIng there for a few months, when she fell ill. Unfortunately, this was not long enough for her to obtain any benefits or insurance. Her final expenses were left for her son who is a young father of two, with another baby due soon.

Tammy leaves behind four sons, one daughter-in-law, two grand children with one more on the way. She loved them all more than words could describe. She also leaves behind her elderly mother, siblings, nieces and nephews and many friends and co-workers whom she loved and cared for deeply.
S
he once wrote that when she died, she wanted people to remember that she was honest, reliable and always did whatever it takes to achieve her goals. She was loved by so many and is missed dearly. I humbly ask for any help that you can provide to cover the cost of her final expenses. No amount is too small, every penny will help. The goal I set will cover her cremation and an urn. If additional funds are raised I would love to have a celebration of life for her. She loved a good party and would want us to celebrate her life and share memories.

Please let me know if you have any questions or need any additional information regarding Tammy. Thank you in advance for your time and kind consideration.

Please know that any funds donated above her expenses will be given to the American Lung  Association.
