SixKittensRescue Needs Your Help!

Six Kittens Rescue (SKR) is an Aggie founded and operated animal rescue based out of Bryan, TX. Our mission is to help control the ever growing feral cat population of BCS while reducing the spread of infectious diseases such as Feline Leukemia and Feline AIDS. We do so by capturing young feral kittens and rehabilitating them for placement into loving homes. We also are working on expanding our TNR program, making sure we do our part to control the population growth of feral cats. In order to continue our work, we need help from generous folks like you! We are currently working on paying off our veterinary bill so we can continue to care for more cats. We test every cat/kitten in our care to ensure they are FelV/FIV negative. Moving forward, we ensure that each kitten has its PRCP-FelV vaccinations, along with it’s Rabies vaccine. We run an intestinal parasite screen on each kitten to make sure we can properly deworm them to rid them of internal parasites. We apply monthly preventative medications to all cats in our care to prevent against heart worms, fleas, and intestinal parasites. Our ultimate goal would be to make sure each pet has been spayed/neutered by the time they leave our care. Unfortunately, at this point, it is not financially feasible. We want to keep our adoption rates low enough to serve our community but the currently do not even come close to what care is costing us!
