Titus’ Surgery, Hit By Car Today :(

Today we had the most unexpected, traumatic experience happen , our puppy Titus was hit by a car. We adopted Titus a little over a year ago from the Fredericksburg SPCA. He is a German Shepard mix, we adopted him when he was only 3 weeks old. He has grown up with my kids, especially my youngest, Jayce, who is roughly the same age as Titus. After a series of complications and several ER visits, Titus was stabilized, and was able to come home tonight. However he has a broken leg and a bunch of road rash. The Vet at the ER, has given us 2 options. Titus will either have to have his leg amputated, or have surgery. The surgery will have to be performed by a specialist, do the the fractures being located in his growth plate just above his knee. Titus has a full life ahead of him, and a lot of playtime with the kids. We are going to Have the surgery done, I have never used a gofundme, it was recommend by the Vet due to the surgery likely to cost an upwards of $4000.00. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated, any funds donated that are not used towards his surgery, will be donated back to the Fredericksburg SPCA! Titus is a very loving and friendly dog, he is the most kind hearted animal I have ever met. Even during the most trying times of his life today in the ER rooms , he still greeted the vets with a wagging tale and friendly response. I am so grateful he pulled through most of the complications , he has fought tooth and nail through this whole experience. He deserves a second chance! He is one of my children , and I want him to have the best recovery possible. Thanks for any consideration.
