Crawford Family Medical Expense Assistance

Donation protected
At the end of January, Carol went into urgent care for help with flu-like symptoms. Several tests were done and on February 1st, they were able to make the diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

More information about this type of leukemia can be found here: https://www.cancer.gov/types/leukemia/patient/adult-aml-treatment-pdq/

She started chemotherapy almost immediately at the U of M hospital in Minneapolis, where she has been since she received the diagnosis.

The last few days have brought good news for the Crawford family but the whole ordeal is far from over. Carol could potentially be out of work for 5 months or more as she needs to go through at least 4 more rounds of chemotherapy.

She is still in the hospital for at least a few more weeks but may still be in and out of the hospital for days or weeks at a time while additional chemo treatments are administered. Tyler is having to cut his hours at work to be there for Carol and for their children. As you can imagine this is a very scary and uncertain time for Carol's entire family.

Medical bills are piling up fast and the financial strain adds to the stress they are already under. I know many of you are looking for ways to help so if you can, please donate here.

Thank you to all of you who have helped in so many ways like meals, gift cards, and well-wishes. Every comment and every dollar is appreciated more than you know.
