Fundraiser For Gabby And Family

Donation protected
I am a friend and coworker of Gabby's. I am adding her fiance, Jake, as the administrator of this campaign, but want to get it out and circulating as quick as possible. Below is a plea from Jake, and an explanation of the prognosis they are facing. Some of you may have already seen and been invited to the event we are hosting at Applebee's, this here is for those who live too far away, can not make the event and want to help this family in ANY way you can. I told Jake today that I know money will not fix anything, but my hope is it eases the burdens on their shoulders and allows them to focus on what's important, search for more answers, spend time together, and pray for a cure. Gabby means so very much to so many people, mostly her 2 babies. I encourage you to read her story below and donate what you can. This family is going to need us to rally together to make their next steps easier and love them through it all. This is the post from her fiance, Jake: "I need help. My fiance is only 27 and has been told her cancer is terminal. A year ago she was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue. We were told it was aggressive and need to act fast. She had surgery to have it removed. They had found some of the cancer in her lymph nodes that they removed during the surgery. They made that seem pretty common. After surgery she did 8 weeks of radiation and chemo with an immunotherapy. She had a few spots show up her lung after treatment. They monitored thd spots and did more test. They came to the conclusion the spots were an infection and or swelling from treatment and surgery. Two of the spots got better with antibiotics and steroids, however one did not. So recently she had a biopsy on that spot and it was determined the cancer had spread to her lung. We found that out two weeks ago and ever since her health has been declining drastically. After her PET scan it was found that the cancer has now spread to her liver, stomach and bones. We are going to do. Chemo to help slow it down but we were told today it's incurable and terminal. I'm not ready to give up, I know she's not either. We have two young kids who need there Mom. Today is a day to celebrate the ones you love. I want the love of my life to be around next Valentine's day and many more after that to celebrate. So I'm asking you all to please help us. Help us find a cure, help us find away to keep her here with us for as long as possible. Someone might have some advice or be able to point us in the right direction. Please share this in hopes the right person reads this. Meanwhile we won't give up hope for a miracle. Thank you!"
