This is our new home: The Pelican Hotel, where we are building a life for our family and a retreat for community, for writers and artists, poets and painters from across the country. A studio in which to create and invent. A tea house, a green house, an open house; a rehearsal space for dancers and actors; a hub for groups to meet and play and plan; an events space, a youth space, a great space for dreaming and doing.

WHO IS BEHIND THE CAMPAIGN AND WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?

1. This campaign is run by the Kooperman family

2. All contributions will go to the Kooperman family

3. The money contributes to securing the purchase of the Pelican Hotel for the Kooperman family

4. The purpose of the campaign and why the community is invited to contribute is about the Kooperman’s vision regarding what the community might gain from the iconic hotel being owned by the Kooperman family

5. If the campaign fails and we don’t get the funds to purchase the hotel, all pledges are cancelled and the money returned to contributors

6. Contributions will only be withdrawn from this campaign on this basis and not for any other use
