Nicole Dawn Madill Memorial Fund

Donation protected
We are devastated to share that Nicole Dawn Madill, loving mother, daughter, sister, niece and cousin, tragically passed away on February 3rd, 2019.

Our family has lost a beautiful soul and we all are grieving a lovely young woman who at 30-years, had barely started her adult life. Her passing was very sudden, and we are still learning of all the details.

Nicole struggled with mental health issues, specifically, bipolar disorder and paranoid schizophrenia. She worked very hard to control her mental illness. She had good days and bad days, but never stopped trying to heal herself. She sought medical attention numerous times and wanted so badly to get better for herself, her family, but most of all for her son, Gabe. Nicole was the sweetest person, accepting of all, and had a heart of gold. She was extremely kind and loving, with an amazing sense of humor and a quirky free spirit. From her Dad, she developed a love of the outdoors, and was at her best when doing what she loved, camping and fishing with the family.

Nicole leaves behind a sweet and spunky 10 -year old son, Gabe, who has been living with his grandparents, Lonnie and Sherry, while Nicole sought medical treatment. Recently Gabe has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and although he is aware of his mother’s passing, we are unsure how much he really understands. As Gabe’s grandparents ( who are my Uncle and Aunt)  come to terms with the medical issues that he has, as well as grieve the death of their daughter, they themselves are struggling with numerous health issues as well.

Due to health issues, financial hardship and unforeseen circumstances, Lonnie and Sherry do not have the funds for a proper memorial service to honor their daughter, or the funds for medical and educational bills that Gabe will incur as they navigate his new diagnosis. We are asking for prayers and positive thoughts, and we hope that you can join us in supporting the Madill family in their time of need. All funds will go directly to Lonnie and Sherry, and will  be used for Nicole’s memorial service, Gabe’s on going treatment, as well as Gabe’s education.

Our family thanks you and we truly appreciate your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. Rest in Peace Nicole, we will take care of Gabe.
