The Carroll County Animal Protection League started January 17, 2007 to raise the money to build a no-kill animal shelter for our rural county to save lives of precious domesticated animals. We purchased land and we have invested $490,248.28 in our land and building. We started construction as of June 1st. when our building shell arrived from Morton Buildings, Inc. We paid them $129,500.00 to build the animal shelter "shell", but need additional funding for the sewer system, well-drilling, cement, plumbing, electrical, heating and so much more to achieve our goal. We currently have $217,000.00 dollars towards interior construction and need at least $800,000.00 to complete it from start to finish. Can you help us please? www.ccapl.webs.com
Can you help us build it?
This is the "shell" of our no-kill animal shelter. We have been working and striving so hard to get it finished, but need support and funding to complete it. We have done the rough-in plumbing, the cement throughout and the steel kennel ceiling, plus we are currently working on the electrical part. Once the electric is running, we will have the insulation blown in in the main area, and start the studwall construction for all the interior rooms throughout.
