Move Mountains For Jason

We are Shaun, Rob & Ken an we’ve been blessed with an amazing group of friends. One of these friends, Jason Laguerre, is in the fight of his life.Jason has four children. Chase and Bella are his teenage children that live down south. At home, with his wife Elizabeth, are Jason Jr and Lucy who are both under 4. Shortly after Christmas last year, Jason found out he had a brain tumor. The Doctors were pretty confident that they could remove it without complications. On January 18th Jason had the surgery to remove the tumor. It all seemed to go perfectly. Jason was awake and joking with his family and the nurses.
Jason (papa) was discharged home the 19th. He was home for about 45 mins when he had a seizure sitting up in bed and 911 was called. He was brought back to the hospital for an emergency 4 hour surgery.
Jason had suffered an epidural hematoma - a blood vessel popped in his brain and the pool of blood began putting pressure on his brain - so it got squished badly in his skull - causing permanent brain damage to portions of his brain stem and other parts of his brain. The swelling is going down in his brain - but a quarter of his skull had been removed in case surgery is needed again.
Jason is currently awake. And getting 2 hour neuro checks. If he doesn't respond independently, they use pain checks to see if his body responds. He can't move his right side at all and can barely move his left. He just started opening up his left eye independently - but doesn't keep it open long. He communicates by squeezing your hand. He currently has a tracheotomy and a g tube for feeding.
Jason’s family and friends have each other for the needed emotional support but we need help on the financial side. We all understand what it costs to survive with a mortgage, childcare, utilities etc. Anything you can give will help this family. Faith, love and kindness are powerful enough to move mountains.
