Assistance for burned out family

My sister and her husband lost everything last night , January 2, 2016 in a house fire that started in the kitchen, including their home, all personal items and 7 cats and 1 dog that they had adopted.  They escaped with the clothes on their back. They have insurance on the home but as everyone knows, insurance can get sidetracked for months in red tape and paperwork.  They need assistance now in being able to buy clothes and basic essentials including daily prescriptions.  My sister works but has missed a lot of work this past year due to a broken leg and subsequent surgeries, but my brother in law, who is 82 lives on a small social security income, and has recently been diagnosed with early onset of alzheimers disease.  This tragedy will very likely have a profound effect on his medical and mental condition as he blames himself for the fire as he was attempting to cook dinner when the fire started.  Anything you can spare to help them get through the early days of this tragic loss will be so very much appreciated and thank you in advance for your help.
