Urgent Help Needed For Dog Hit By Car

URGENT Help Needed!!!! POSSIBLE ANIMAL ABUSE CASE!!! Hi guys I need a miracle to help a suffering dog I just found. My coworker told me he saw a group of kids dumping a small dog which appeared to have broken leg at a field near my office last week. I looked and no luck until today! This sweet boy was extremely scared and in a lot of pain. I was able to catch him after he ran and cowered from me. Slowly his instinct to be scared turned intopeace. I think he sensed i was there to help him and he started licking my hand and looking at me as if saying thank you, please help me.I took him to emergency vet and they estimated he is 1-2 years old and confirmed a very badly broken leg, they believe he had been hit by a car at least TWO weeks ago and has been suffering in painsince. Bad news turned to worse when she told me that it had to be amputated and surgery estimate is $4000-5k! Or to put him down. I am searching for a new estimate as we speak. I have already spent $515 on x rays, exams, and meds. I just can’t put him down after he feels like he has been saved. I cant give up on this sweet boy. I have no option but to ask for help and try to raise funds. I told the vet I would do what i canto get the money and hope for the best.
