Help Flynn & Kale Get To America For Film Award!

Since a young age, Flynn & I  have been very passionate about film making, and consider it as a future career. Last year we decided to enter a short film competition called the International Youth Silent Film Festival (IYSFF). After months of hard work and planning, Flynn & I produced a murder mystery short titled “Suspected.” Our film was selected as one of 16 Victorian regional finalists, where it won us first place!

This will mean that in June, 2019, we’ll have the opportunity to travel to Portland, Oregon, USA for the World Grand Final! Here, at the grand final and the days of film activities leading up to it, we’ll get the chance to meet people highly regarded in the film industry and help get our names out there. This could be the start of our international film making careers.

However, as the IYSFF is a non-for-profit organisation, we will have to pay our own way there, which won’t be an easy task. We know that $9,500 sounds like a lot of money to ask for, but with return airfares, travel insurance, passports, accommodation & everything else, costs will add up quickly.

So in order to make this once in a lifetime opportunity possible for Flynn & I, where we can represent Australia and have our creative work shown to the world, even the smallest of donations will help us get to America!
