Tim Bott's Fight for Life

Our names are Alex and Ethan Bott and we would like to ask for your attention to a very serious matter:
On January 16th, 2016, our father went into the emergency room for extreme side pain. Never in a million years did we expect to hear the diagnosis: Stage Four Pancreatic Cancer. You may know that less than 2 years ago, our beloved mother was released to the grips of Stage Four Lung Cancer. We feel terrified and overwhelmed- what were the chances that our family would be faced with such a dire situation so soon after the first? Our wounds are still healing, after all.
However, the truth of life is that the unexpected and unfair happen even when it seems impossible. This is where we turn to our friends, family, acquaintances, and anyone willing to hear what we have to say. Cancer has taken too much from us already, and we aren't willing to let it take even more.
That being said, treatment is expensive. While our dad (Tim Bott) is currently undergoing chemotherapy, we have explored more integrative options such as nutritional therapy; he is traveling to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Zion Illinois this week. You may know that chemotherapy is a debilitating treatment; he is no longer working, and therefore money has quickly become an issue.
Any money donated will be used directly for Tim's health- whether it be travel cost for treatment, medicine, vitamins/supplements, or organic superfoods. We are going after this disease at all angles, and this includes using food and other holistic approaches as medicine. Cancer is a ravenous beast, and chemotherapy alone will not be enough to starve it.
For those of you that don't know our father, Tim Bott, he is a lover, a fighter, and a proud finisher of 20 marathons including Boston. He is the most selfless and caring man in the world and, after the death of our mother, did everything he could to help us through such tragedy- he saved us. Now it's our turn to save him. Help us help Tim finish the fight. With your help, he could finish his 21st marathon.
