Kayla & Kami for Miss West Coast

Kayla is a freshman at The Masters College where she earned a classical voice scholarship and Kami is in her junior year of high school. While Kayla was representing Valencia in the Miss California USA Teen pageant in January of 2013, Kami was on the soccer field. Kayla and Kami travel nine weekends during the winter and 12 weeks during the spring and summer with The MrJ Band; Kayla as the keyboardist and lead female vocalist and Kami as a lead female actress and actionoligist. Kami loves playing soccer for LA premiere FC! She played forward, scored some goals and then settled in at Center Mid towards the end of her 2013 season. Kayla volunteers 2 times a week in the junior high department of her church as a small group leader of about 10 girls, as well as being part of the worship team, plus teaches her 13 piano students and voice students! After Kayla graduates with her music degree she would like to pursue a career as an opera singer and continue to teach and share her passion for music with young children. Kami really has a heart for people in need. She has gone on two humanitarian trips to the country of Jordan coming into refugees homes to give them food and supplies, and a tender heart. Kami plans to go on many trips like these! After Kami graduates from high school, she wants to enlist in the US army reserves, join her sister at The Master's College where she would like to play soccer and major in business, with an ultimate career as an LAPD SWAT officer. Kayla and Kami love making people laugh as they are true goof balls! They are very enthusiastic, friendly, energetic girls and passionate about their work and pursing their careers! The neat thing about these two girls is they aren't just sisters; they are best friends going into this pageant together!
