Stand With Chris
Donation protected
Christopher Bastien fell three stories on July 19, 2015. After an 8 hour surgery reassembling the shattered vertebrae and severed nerves, he was still left with only a 2% chance of regaining movement from the waist down. This is tough at any age but especially for a 20 year old college student. His road to recovery will be long and arduous but you can help us stand WITH him!
The recovery process is not just physically challenging but financially challenging as well. The immediate needs, during the 30 day rehabilitation process, are to modify his home and surroundings to make them handicapped accessible. Funds are also needed to cover current rehabilitation costs in addition to long term medical and living expenses. We have established a GOFUNDME account to help Chris. Your support will help us get to the $250,000 goal that will allow him to regain his independence.
For those of you that know Chris personally, you are well aware of how driven and independent he is. You also know that he is extremely outdoor and faith oriented. For those of you that don't, follow this page and watch as he charges through his recovery. Then you will KNOW Chris and you will stand WITH him. If you financially cannot make a donation, please consider liking this page, sharing it, and please keep Chris and his family in your prayers. If you would like to communicate a message of good will to Chris, we welcome them and he will enjoy reading them.
