Jason’s Journey-Montgomery, TX

Jason was officially diagnosed with Stage 4 Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma, a common type of non-Hodgkins lymphoma, on December 10, 2018.  The planned treatment was six rounds of IV and intrathecal chemotherapy at approximately three-week intervals, but he had a relapse 3 months after completing this regimen. Now he is undergoing in-patient, more intense chemo, and will receive an autologous stem cell transplant once he goes back into remission. He is not able to work during his treatment, as he is a patrol deputy, and we cannot predict exactly when he’ll be able to go back on patrol. We are using a CaringBridge website, in addition to a private Facebook Group, to keep more family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.
