French Bulldog : Help Genevieve Walk Again!
Donation protected
My dog Genevieve collapsed out of nowhere screaming in pain and has lost feeling in her back hind legs. We rushed her to the emergency vet where they said she needed immediate surgery and her success rate of walking again would be 90%. They are assuming she has IVDD or a slipped disk in her back which has caused damage to her spinal cord making her unable to feel her back legs. Unfortunately we were not able to come up with 6000 dollars in a hour to get her the care she needs. Since a day has passed her chances of walking have gone down to 50/50. She is currently on steroids and we are hoping it will help in some shape or form. Any donation of any kind to help with her medical bills would be greatly appreciated. I still need a Cat Scan/MRI to actually find the source of the problem. If we could come up with the money for the surgery we would definitely go that route, otherwise We would be looking into acupuncture treatment to see what that can do for her. She is 5 years old and has a lot of life in her, I couldn’t imagine having to say goodbye when she has so much more life to live. We need an MRI and after the vets opinion we will determine if surgery is the best way to go.
