A Life Turned Upside Down!

I want to start by thanking all who have prayed for Jason~Mandie  As the New Year brought excitement for many, our life was turned upside down in the blink of an eye. We found out that Jason has Cancer! They first found a tumor on his jaw on New Year’s Day. Then I took him back to ER and they did an upper body scan. Found three more tumors, one in his lung, and one on each adrenal gland. He was immediately admitted to the hospital. They did a biopsy of his jaw (easiest to get too) to find out which type of cancer, and I believe what stage cancer. They’re pretty sure it’s lung cancer. He has an appointment with radiology next week to get radiation going on his jaw. The jaw is the hardest on him, as he can’t really eat and it's where all the pain is. January 20th Jason found out that he indead did have stage 4 lung cancer that has spread to his two adrenal glands and his jaw! On February 3rd Jason went back to ER with extreme chest pain. A scan showed found a new tumor on his sternum. He has a biopsy on Friday of the lung to do more testing as to the genetics of the cancer. We are meeting back with his oncologist to see what we do now that we know it’s spreading so fast. He will not be able to work going forward. So, if anyone happens to know or have an "in" with a place for them to rent near Sherwood for cheap, that would a huge relief off their shoulders. As they can’t make rent next month on Mandie's income alone. "As hard as we are having to come to terms with how life just changed in a matter of minutes, please keep our kids in your prayers and thoughts. All four are having a very hard time.
