Helping My Dad Stay On His Feet

Hello, my name is Amber Dean and I am a 19 year old Kent State Student. Pictured above is my father, Shawn, myself and sister. I have started this fundraiser to get him the physical therapy and bicycle he needs to work his legs and hips in order to stay out of a wheelchair. When my father was eleven, he was shot in his front yard, paralyzing him completely on his right side. The doctors claimed he would never walk again, and wrote it off as a miracle if he lived very long at all. He cannot use his right arm or hand at all and walks with a very severe limp. Lately, he's been in excruciating pain and gone through multiple surgeries, and the therapy and exercise equipment needed is way out of our price range. In order for him to be able to work, walk or function on his own, he must seek out treatment. I've decided to start a gofundme to see if I can help him. He's a hard working man, who has done nothing but pushed through all obstacles and overcame his disadvantages. Even if you can only spare a good thought or prayer, we would be grateful. We only need to make 800 dollars, and I know together we can do it. To succeed with this fundraiser is to keep my Dad in good health, on his feet and save his livelihood.
