Sara Rosemeyer Family Accident Fund

Donation protected
On Dec 27, 2018 Sara buckled 3 of her children (Noah 14, Layla 9, Sadie 4) into her Chrysler Town & Country Van. She followed behind her husband and other child (Liam 6) in their other car. They were due to drop off Adam's car at a shop for repairs later that day. As they were driving down 48th st., a white F-150 coming from the opposite direction, crossed the double yellow line towards Adam's car. He was able to avoid the truck however Sara did not have enough time to react causing a head on collision. A moment later, a third vehicle hit Sara from behind. Sadie was released from the hospital with bumps and bruises however Sara, Noah and Layla have been in the ICU since the accident. Sara was admitted with a dislocated arm a broken left wrist, thumb, right wrist and forearm. She has a concussion and bruising to her chest, back and shoulders along with air bag burns. Currently she is waiting for swelling to improve for surgery on her arm. Noah has broken 3 left ribs which lacerated his spleen and kidney. Layla has been vomiting and the MRI showed organ swelling. A tube was inserted in her nose to her belly to prevent it from swelling shut. Labs showed today (12/29) that her pancreas levels are very high and the trauma team thinks that the head of her pancreas took a blow during the impact with surgery being a possibility. We are starting this fund to help with any home/medical expenses along with expenses for transportation, meals and anything else the family may need. Your generosity is greatly appreciated for this special family.
