Claire is a beautiful, vibrant, fun loving 47 year old that has just had her world turned upside down. In September 2018 she visited her doctor after having a facial drop. The doctor suspected Bells Palsy but scheduled a brain scan to confirm this. That's when everything changed.

This scan and further more intensive scans and a brain bore revealed a large brain tumour and other tumours on her thyroid, kidneys and liver. Doctors have given Claire 6 months to live.

Claire is currently undergoing intense radio therapy sessions 5 days a week. She is also taking high doses of Cannabis oil which we believe has already reduced the tumours on her thyroid, kidneys and liver. Claire will have another brain scan in 3 weeks to reveal the results in this area. Her treatment does not come cheap!!!

We are asking for you to donate to help Claire as she is no longer in a position to earn money to support herself and the cost of her treatment. Please help us keep our girl alive xx

Claire is now on palliative care and unfortunately in Spain, it's at a cost to the patient. She needs to call a private doctor to the house when needed but is hesitant to do so as the costs are so high. I'm sorry to ask you all for a little more help, but if anyone can donate, no matter how small, it will allow claire call for help when needed and not have to worry about the cost. Thank you

Update from Claires partner Tim

So felt it was time to give everybody an update on Claire. As many of you guys already know Claire has sadly had a pretty horrendous last few weeks which is why she has been unable to use her phone and post her daily updates etc. She had the worst possible thing happen which was losing the sight in her 1 remaining working left eye! If this wasn't terrifying enough she was also going through a terrible foot infection caused by the lack of circulation in her right paralised foot. I'm happy to report that as of the last couple of days she has regained some sight in the left eye again so moving around the house is of course a little easier but still a mission as she can't walk at all so requires her wheelchair at all times. Unfortunately we had to call the doctor out a few days ago due to the overwhelming pains Claire was in both from the infected foot and of course the intense head aches from the tumour. So the doctor has now prescribed morphine and we are both happy to say this has had a massive impact on the pain! Claire is entered a kind of zombie stage which goes hand in hand with the morphine but she is happy to accept this to rid the intense pains. She is pretty much still a none mobile phone user as her eyes are just not capable of seeing clearly and even tv images can be a little blurred bless her! I know how many of her closest friends have been trying to text her etc and are keen to be updated....i had over 40 messages yesterday from friends all wanting to know how she is at the moment. Clearly it's easier and far more sensible for me to just write one update for everyone to read and if you would like to reply I will of course read each and every message back to Claire so she will hear any replies that you guys may want to write. So.....that just leaves me to say that we are both overwelmed by the lovely messages of support and we are still fighting everyday to try and keep Claire as comfortable as posible. The new drugs do make Claire very sleepy and together with the cancer side effects she has had almost all energy levels she had ripped away from her! Both Claire and myself wanted to say a huge thankyou to everyone who has been here for us over the past few months, you know who you are so no need to name names but without all this support, help and visits to our home to watch over Claire and allowing me time to get out and recharge my batteries, eat and walk the dog etc. our lives here would most definately have been so much more difficult! Thank you all so much!❤. We will keep you updated on here with any relevant changes or developments. Love and best wishes to to you all, Tim and Claire xxx
