Medical Expenses For Tom McLaughlin
Donation protected
On October 20, 2018, Tom entered the hospital with a severe infection in his right foot that spread up his leg. The diagnosis was necrotizing fasciitis. Without an amputation below the knee, doctors predicted it would spread and be fatal. Tom spent almost six weeks in the hospital, including rehabilitation. He spent the last month at his parents’ house. The costs of the hospital bills, medical equipment, loss in salary, and adaptations to his home and his vehicle are overwhelming. Tom has made exceptional progress and is in in-home physical and occupational therapy and seeing a myriad of specialists and other doctors. He’s learning to walk again with a prosthetic limb. As he works to return to school, your gift, no matter the size, will help make his transition back to work complete.
