❤️Evy’s Second Heart Surgery❤️

For those of you who don’t know us we are the Olsen Family. Sean, Veronica, and Evelyn Olsen. Evelyn was born at 29 weeks and 2 days on June 24th. 24 hours later we were notified that Evy had a heart defect called Truncus Arteriosus and would need open heart surgery to correct, she was air lifted to Toronto where we started our journey. Evy had her corrective surgery on August 1rst and did incredible, and continued to hit milestones until we eventually were transferred back to London a then home late October. Unfortunately it was short lived, On Halloween Evy began to show sign of rapid breathing, and we brought her to the Chatham emerg. This started another month visit in the hospital while we fought to get her back to Sick Kids. We eventually succeed in getting the CT Scan required to diagnose that her two Pulmonary Veins that go to her left lung are obstructed and she will need another open heart surgery to correct. Dad is currently travelling only up on the weekends and Mom is now at the Ronald McDonald House downtown Toronto. It’s an unfortunate time of year, so those who can not donate to help with travel and Moms stay in Toronto please send all the positive energy you can our way for Evelyn to tackle this next surgery.
