From Everest To Fuego Relief Fund

Volcán de Fuego disaster relief fund. Non profit charity event
Hi guys,
So Fuego was a volcano that I visited in 2017 in Guatemala, climbing its neighbouring dormant volcano Acatenango to marvel at the smoke and lava erupting. This was a tough trek but remains one of my best memories and experiences of my travels.
June of this year Fuego erupted much more violently and spewed out into the village killing over 200 people and many more injured or missing. Many people have been left with nothing, with their homes wiped out and basic necessities and resources destroyed. Also since that tragic month thousands had been evacuated due to more unstableness of Fuego.
This cause is close and meaningful to me after seeing the villagers and trekking with the wonderful guides and porters it becomes more real.
So in an effort to help I will be trekking Everest base camp but in a much more dangerous and exhausting fashion. I will be doing the trek in average 4 days quicker then a standard trek so I will be climbing it over 10 days well technically 9, which means I have no acclimatization days at all when normally at least 2 or 3 are required. Also I will be trekking in the winter through temperatures of -20 degrees.
I hope you guys can support me on this by donating what you can to the charities. This money will go to a charity called global giving that works world wide with various non profit organisations but this money will be directed solely towards the cause I’ve outlined to provide food, shelter, clothing and rebuilding homes.
