Lisa Marie Jost - Woolsey Fire

My dear friend & former colleague at HydroPeptide, Lisa Marie Jost, is an incredible lady! She is one of the strongest women I know & has the sweetest heart. Last Friday Lisa sadly lost everything as a result of the Woolsey Fire in Malibu. Friday morning Lisa left for work, took an overnight bag to stay with a friend that night, not realizing it would be the last time she would leave her home. The fire jumped highway 101 & engulfed everything on the 2 acre property where she rented a lovely cottage. When Lisa received word the fire had spread, it was too late to return home to gather cherished keepsakes, including her grandmothers vase & strand of pearls Lisa’s daughter was to wear in her upcoming wedding. In addition to the precious family heirlooms, all of her belongings are gone, as the fire burnt all buildings to the ground. Thankfully, Lisa’s beloved dog Gigi went with her Friday to stay at daycare. The loss is unimaginable & overwhelming as she rebuilds her life. Lisa is one of the hardest working ladies I know - she was even at work on Monday morning. When I spoke with her I asked how I could help & she said “I’ve never wanted to accept help so this is tough for me.” She simply said “anything would help - even a nice scented candle & bath salts.” My wish is that we could all join together & contribute something for Lisa to help rebuild her life in this time of great loss.
