Holiday Gifts for Dollar a Day Kids

My name is Ashley. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and now live with my 2 daughters and husband in rural Brazil. I run this campaign each year to provide school supplies and hygiene products to children in our town.

We make sure each supported child has the following items for the upcoming school year, which starts in early February:

~A backpack
~School uniforms
~A bath towel
~Notebooks
~Pencils ✏️
~A pair of flip flops
~Toothbrushes and toothpaste
~A simple toy

And....this year we want to help even more children. Our new town school serves 300+ children ages 6-8 and has no playground. Play is an integral part of learning. For every dollar donated, 75 cents will buy school products and 25 cents will be donated to build a playground. If we reach our goal, 50 kids will receive school supplies and the playground will be fully funded!

I personally handle all donations. I withdraw the funds and purchase all materials. I meet each family and ensure that every penny donated goes straight to the supplies that are given to each student.
