As many of you know Veda my 2 month old daughter is in Geisinger/ Janet Weis Children's Hospital. We are almost 3 hours away from home. We started off Saturday at ER and were told she was fine, her worst day hadn't hit yet so they had no idea about the rsv. Monday morning my mom came and picked us up from Deposit and we stopped in Vestal at the walk in, her oxygen level was low. It was low 50s and middle 60s. It should be at least 90s. The nurse gave the advice to go to the RP ER, so off we went. We arrived and they did tests and got her on an IV. They then transferred us to where we are now. Only one of us could ride with her in the ambulance so my mom had to also drive up. We have been here 3 days, she's on oxygen and getting better but we have to pay for food, and didn't come prepared with clothes, or anything. We had no idea we'd be staying. Whatever helps. I hate asking for help but in the past 3 days we've spent alot on food from the hospital cafe(food is so expensive here). Please keep us in your prayers. Postitive vibes. Love y'all Cass and Veda.
