Burglary Relief

On 11/06/2018, we were robbed. Amanda and I were both at work when I got a call from our security company that a motion sensor in our house was triggered. I told them no one was home and they sent police. When I arrived, I went through the house. Nothing looked out of the ordinary besides some things knocked over from what looked like an attempt to run, and run fast. Then, I got to the back of the house... Our office area was completely destroyed. Things broken, boxes and items strewn about the room, and that's when I noticed what was gone. Some things are not replaceable as they were priceless memories/family heirlooms. Other things, are replaceable, but are not cheap. I was planning on returning back to school next year and now that is not a real possibility, as I was going to do online schooling, (my work schedule and traditional classes don't mix) because my MacBook was stolen. In addition to my MacBook, a guitar was taken, some guitar accessories, our checks (which forced us to close our account and get a new one), a large sum of money, some memorable pricesless books and other assorted things. The total value of items taken from us is approximately $3000. We would've been cleared out if it wasn't for the basic security system we have. Our security system saved much more from being stolen and for that we are grateful. Most importantly, our family was not harmed besides the psychological effects of a burglary. With the money you so kindly donate, we will replace a few of the items taken (like a computer so I can return to school) and upgrade our existing security system (additional sensors, cameras, glass break sensors, extra alarm, etc) so we can feel safer in our home, which right now, even with what we have, we don't feel 100% safe.
