The civil war that ravaged Liberia for fourteen years caused a complete collapse of the country’s physical infrastructure. Even more devastating was the collapse of Liberia’s organizational infrastructure, including its educational system. As a result, Liberian children (even those in the best schools) trail behind their counterparts around the world with regard to education.
Cyber-ed Christian School of Excellence was founded in 2012 by Soni Karnga Williams as a homeschool, in an effort to provide quality education for children in Liberia.
Our goal is to catapult Liberia into the twenty-first century by offering students residing in Liberia the opportunity to acquire the highest quality education and by providing a rich environment of challenging courses.
Our flexible student based approach utilizes a combination of animated lessons and interactive activities through web based programs and the arts to make learning dynamic and fun.
Please help fund our trip to Liberia to deliver laptops and assist the staff in educating the amazing youth of Liberia.
