Autistic Man Needs Our Help

It’s hard to imagine a person in this situation; a friend of mine has autism, he lives alone, has no family to turn to for support, has few friends, no means of transportation, and recently lost his job. He was barely living paycheck-to-paycheck as it was. Now he is in real danger of becoming homeless. I’m helping him all I can by trying to ensure that he gets the benefits that may be available to him, but all of those things take weeks to process and the bills are due October 30th. I have been helping him try to find work, any work, he’s ready and willing to work, but with the autism you can imagine how difficult it is for him to get past the interview process successfully. We will keep trying. I am proposing a ONE-TIME charitable assistance to get him through the next month until he can find a source of income. I promise that every penny will go to pay his bills to keep him sheltered and his phone active (without it, it is nearly impossible to apply for work as everything is done online and appointments made over the phone). The minimum we need to keep those two things going is $350. Nevertheless other bills for the month will follow: electricity, water, etc. so I’m setting a goal of $550 to cover everything we can until other sources of income start kicking in. I hope none of you are ever in a similar situation and hopefully I’ll be able to help him get this resolved so that hope may return to his life. Anything you can give would be so appreciated, even a dollar or two, more if possible. Again, none of this is for me, it will all go to pay his bills. I apologize for having to ask this, but I don’t know where else to turn. I’m open to other suggestions if you have any.
