Urgent Stair Lift for Rod

Team Rod is raising money for the urgent need of medical equipment (stair lift for the home) needed in two-three weeks and for some other medical and household expenses.
In 2014, Rod married his sweetheart Tiphane and they began life together as husband and wife. Rod worked as a traveling carpenter. He was independent, strong, and an excellent provider for his family. His recent medical condition and diagnosis has rapidly caused significant nervous system and muscle decline warranting the urgent need for a stair lift due to his inability to ambulate. Amid numerous hospitalizations, the doctors attempted to determine the cause of his rapid decline. It was not until recently that he was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis/Lou Gehrig's disease). This has caused significant emotional and financial hardship on his family unit due to his inability to work and due to his physical limitations. The stair lift is not covered by their health insurance. His wife Tiphane is currently working two jobs to maintain their recently purchased home and other expenses but she will need ongoing financial support as a caregiver.
