Support The Barley-Jarvie Family
The Barley-Jarvie family of Maple Ridge need our support. Nicole is a loving wife and amazing mother to 2 beautiful girls. Isla is 9 and Irelynn is 4. October 2017, Nicole was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Throughout her invasive treatments, procedures and surgeries Nicole fought and the family stayed optimistic. In May 2018 they were told Nicole beat the disease. Although the cancer was gone Nicole was still not well and having complications. Fast forward to October 2018 when Nicole's pain had worsened and the family received the devastating news that the cervical cancer was back and spread to her pancreas and spine. This time around the cancer is likely uncurable. Nicole will be starting Chemotherapy. Depending how well her body responds will determine how much time she has. She will also be starting radiation very soon. We are hoping the radiation will help alleviate some of her pain. Our hope is for Nicole to get some stability and quality of life so that she can make memories that will last Chris, Isla and Irelynn a lifetime. All funds generated through this campaign will be used at the discretion of Chris and Nicole. Your generosity may be used for the following: * A family trip to Disneyland * Getting Nicole the best possible care * Allowing Chris to stay at home and care for Nicole, Isla & Irelynn * Supporting the extra costs that go along with having an illness. (Gas, parking fees, bills, meds that are not covered and babysitters.) We can not cure Nicole but together as a community we can certainly lesson the financial burden and make her dreams of taking her girls to the happiest place on earth a reality. Thank you for helping the Barley- Jarvie family during this difficult time. All donations are greatly appreciated. Please share this GoFundMe page.
Also, we surpassed our initial goal of $25,000. It was a very happy day for everyone!

Thank you to everyone who has already made a donation or shared our GoFundMe page. Please continue to spread the word. The family needs our help! I will continue to post updates when they become available.
